Lotto's family prize

Aylesbury Vale District Council says it is celebrating the continuing success of Vale Lottery with a new prize draw in time for the summer holidays. Vale Lottery players who are signed up before 8pm on Saturday  June 29 could be in with the chance of winning a two-day pass and an ‘all inclusive’ overnight stay for a family of four at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

Now in its fourth year, the lottery is a way to support local good causes, having raised nearly £250,000 for sports clubs, animal charities, theatre groups, disability charities and more than 50 schools. Over 200 good causes are already registered to Vale Lottery, each benefitting from the invaluable funds provided by players’ support.

A ‘thrilling weekend’ is in store for one lucky Vale Lottery player who will receive a two-day pass, says the council, and an ‘all inclusive’ overnight stay for a family of four at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

Council Chairman Councillor Sue Renshell said: ‘Vale Lottery has proven to be a fantastic and easy way to support the local good causes in our community. By launching this special prize draw, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that we will soon surpass the incredible milestone of a quarter of a million pounds raised.’

Tickets for Vale Lottery cost £1 a week, with 60p from every ticket going directly to local good causes, and the balance going to running costs and prizes.

Players can choose a cause and buy tickets at Vale Lottery, where organisations can also find out more and register.
